On Thursday March 26th, 2026, Paul Keown and Karen Sherwood hosted a special guest Ákos Bernard JÓZWIAK from Budapest, Hungary in the Immunology lab at VGH in Vancouver. Dr. Bernard is a Lecturer at the Institute of Food Chain Science of the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest. He is also the Head of Food & Nutrition Science and AI at the Syreon Research Institute. The visit became an impromptu mini symposium on using AI for precision health and included 12+ participants from the research team as well the Capstone project student group.
